Engineering ALL the Environments               

 

Creating accessible environments increases independence, participation, social growth, opportunities to show what you know and can do and opportunities to learn.

 

Barriers can be: 

·        Less opportunity because of environmental barriers, policy and lack of knowledge

·        Limited access because of physical challenges faced by the student

·        Communication difficulties both verbal and non-verbal
